Professional Staff Management (PSM) provides its clients with a turnkey set of payroll services. PSM can match up with your company's capabilities to export payroll information the way you need it, not us. We utilize a powerful payroll management process to insure against errors and omissions. Coupled with our deep experience and expertise, we can expertly manage the toughest  payroll challenges; utilizing the power, performance and flexibility of Microsoft Windows and SQL Server Technology as our application platform. PSM system primarily will utilize and upload to a web interface for payroll, but can also take data via fax for input into the system.

Payroll services offered include; record keeping, proper adjustments for taxes, direct deposit, multi-state issues, third party checks, W-2 processing, out-of-cycle checks, multiple sequence checks, special taxing, retro-pay, pre-processing, mass changes and piecework.

A special feature, "Computation Definitions", gives the user the power to create user-defined formulas or rules throughout the payroll system. For example, the user can create an unlimited number of very specific pay codes, each with its own special processing rules, tax instructions and G/L controls. The user can also create "deduction masters" for each type of deduction that is setup for your organization. Various options allow you to define how the deduction is calculated, its tax effect and rules for limits, arrears and balances.

The payroll system is comprehensive and extremely user friendly. Detailed information from every payroll is automatically saved, providing a complete on-line history of all entries, deductions, taxes and checks for every employee. Employee History File information is readily available and the interface is intuitive, so that employees as well as managers can confidently find themselves navigating what was before, a quagmire of confusing information.

The payroll system is efficient and fully integrated with the HR component of our HRMS. The system is also flexible and designed to handle very specialized payroll situations, which always seem to arise. Implementation of the payroll system is relatively rapid, pain-free and highly secure.
